Actor and Flint native Terry Crews Tuesday shared on social media his experience with sexual assault in Hollywood.

This comes as many female actresses have come forward to describe unwanted sexual advances from producer Harvey Weinstein.

The actor says the entire revelation has given him a sort of PTSD.

Crews took to Twitter in a 16-part thread describing how he had been the victim of sexual assault at the hands of a prominent entertainment figure.

According to the thread, the person ‘groped his privates’ in front of his wife. Crews says in his Tweets that fear of being ostracized and not being believed made him decide to ‘let it go’.

Crews says he understands why actresses do the same in similar situations and hopes it will deter other predators while encouraging someone who feels hopeless.
